MACA is one of the most well-respected and widespread mining services companies in Australia and it was a pleasure to be able to work with them. Here in WA we live and breathe mining – iron ore, gold, lithium, copper, nickel, the list goes on and on.

As a production company in Perth we at Birdhouse have extensive experience producing content for mining groups. This involves safety inductions, PPE requirements, drone approvals, detailed creative briefs, and travel to far flung parts of our state, and we love it all.

MACA contacted us to fly to the Pilbara and capture hundreds of images of their Karlawinda gold mine site. The spotlight was to be placed on their amazing team members, so the content reflects this focus (it’s a lot of smiling faces). MACA needed a wide range of professional photographic images to use in internal comms, EDMs, reporting, and online marketing.

We flew to Newman, traveled to the mine site, and spent three full days capturing their operations and people from the ground and from the air. It was a great filming trip which resulted in a tonne of content that MACA will use for years to come.

When we returned home our editing team professionally colour graded and retouched the chosen photographs.
